Few cities are better to explore by bicycle than the Big Apple, with streets in perfect grids, miles of designated paths, and iconic sights literally stacked on top of each other. That's right - when the weather's nice, this city BIKES! New York City fills with cycles of all shapes and sizes every spring, summer and fall, as riders of all experience levels take to the famous bridges, sweeping parks, and convenient bike lanes that make it a cyclist's dream. And we at Hyatt Union Square want you to be a part of the action, offering complimentary bike rentals for every guest!

Where to Take Your Complimentary Bike Rental

Right outside our door you'll find a proper bike lane to get your pedaling feet acquainted with navigating traffic and pedestrians. From there, it's up to you! You can view and download maps of bike paths and recommended routes here, or just make it up as you go along. Our central Union Square location puts you a short ride from SoHo, Greenwich Village, the Lower East Side, and Times Square. Of course, there's no reason you wouldn't want to venture further out. Why not take a scenic ride across the Brooklyn Bridge, to the friendly neighborhoods of Cobble Hill and Park Slope? Perhaps you prefer the ├╝ber hip streets of Williamsburg and Bushwick, both just over the Williamsburg Bridge. There's always the 6-mile loop around Central Park, in case you crave a breath of fresh air, or a scenic route into the jazzy streets of Harlem.

Please Remember:

NYC biking is prohibited on sidewalks, and held to the same laws as vehicular traffic, so ride safely.
